Well I should be back in action again, again. Lots of stuff going on in life that kept me busy for some time, but I don't trust the hundreds of anons silently viewing my fan fic and journals to go into detail, but I finally got my hands on a decent writing device. The writing for my Fan Fic of Mass Effect should be continuing properly now.

Surprisingly, I've got a couple of favorites on some of my new Mass Effect entries, but still slow going, so I started a Fanfiction.net profile called 'Hiddenintherubble'. I've already got a few followers and decent view count, which is nice. It's been a bit harder to write on this tablet, but what the hell, at least I still can.

I've noticed a slight drop in quality in my excitement to put out content, so I'm focusing on that a bit more. This seems to be a common issue with myself, the first half of a story starts out with a bunch of detail and as I continue, it degrades a bit. The two biggest problems I face myself is filling out the story between major scenes, typically referred to by writers as The Doldrums, and detail degradation as the story progresses.

The is probably related to my writing style, which is I typically have an idea of where a story is going, but I don't plan it out really. One of my favorite writers, Patricia Briggs, also shares this writing style, so I have hopes that I will become better at it as I go.

 I haven't updated it to where it is on DeviantArt yet, trying to post an update every week till it catches up. I plan to post on both sites, so no worries to the few who may be following it on here as well haha.

So my computer hard drive died, which has unfortunately led to a delay in updates to my fan fics. Excuses excuses, but now I'm typing the fan fic on a 10.1 inch tablet/laptop, the keyboard is a bit of a pain.

That said, I remain committed to trying to regularly post updates to the story and am now actively writing part 6. I work at a call center, so besides answering the same questions all day and thinking about drinking once I get home to drum out the boredom and irritation with my job, I also think about the stories.

Stories, honestly, that won't end up here, in hopes that one day I will publish them to make money. However, besides the sort of rushed feeling and lack of proof reading, my fan fic is a good taste of my writing style. I began writing because books in schools made me bored. Then school made me bored and video games were getting better. So I thought, write like a video game.

Now, with Urban Fantasy becoming a huge genre, it's not unique. However, back in early 2000's , it wasn't anywhere near as predominant. Still, I love writing, exercising my creative thought process. As a writer, a serious one, as with any art, you pour a lot of your soul, your essence, into it. Some days it is easier than others, some days you write for an hour and feel drained. Regardless, I love it and hopefully will never stop, maybe one day to publish and make a living from it.

I have returned again to DA after another lifetime of inactivity. I'm sure that my return is the very epitomy of the phrase 'whisper in the night', but hey what can you do?

Anyways, working on the inactive Mass Effect fan fic after over three years. This time I'm committed to finishing it and plan at least one upload a week.

I title them chapters, but for convenience sake, they'll probably more closely identify to excerpt length. Most readers on DA don't really browse here for the stories, so making them bite sized may help more people finish to reading them. No one wants to read a ton of text in one upload here, that includes myself unfortunately.

Generation Millennial,

I know we suck,
Generation brought up in dreams,
told we were going to be prosperous no matter what,
oh the dream is more destructive than the truth,
there will always be poor and middle class,
poor growing and middle shrinking,
what happened to the American Dream?

We were told money would be easy,
so educated but taught so little,
how do you know it takes so much work,
when all you see is excess?

We were told get educated and you will do great,
work hard and that's all that matters.
I guess Gen X was right,

the baby boomers will lie to your face,
slap you in the face and laugh,
'You can you do it'
As you ring up their socks,
pick up their garbage,
jobs overseas,
for a few bucks,
you are the disease,

Work harder than me,
you'll make it,
yeah also I'ma retire at 70,
cause companies want more,
you can't take leadership,
we're still here.

Gene X and Millennials pissed,
Boomers are still in charge,
70 plus cause
you need one more condo,
keep working till you die,

Your children crazing,
can't reach the craving,
towards the bottle or
whatever kills the pain,

Of failure,
Fuck you!
